We are a B&B hostel located 78km from Monterrey, Nuevo León Mexico and 89km from Laredo, TX in the beautiful and archetypical northern Mexican town of Sabinas Hidalgo.
Together, along with the help of some friends, we managed to transform Nuevo Leon’s second oldest servant country house into a fully equipped hostel with all the basic necessities. All the remodeling and rebuilding was handled by local artisans using natural and environmentally friendly materials and boasts having the one and only outdoor “El Piano Bar” in Sabinas Hidalgo.
Daily Fare is $150 pesos ($11.5 USD or $8.33 Euros) and includes an all-we-can-make breakfast plus a special tour around Sabinas’s greatest spots and finest local attractions.
Not only can the ‘Chuy Inn’ host up to 11 souls comfortably in 8 beds and 3 “manta beds” but it can also host a Mini-Woodstook Festival with plenty of space for camping. As well there are 2 bathrooms, 2 indoor showers and one outdoor for casual and refreshing sessions after a long hot day.
“El Piano Bar” opens at 12:00pm, serving all kinds of delicious beverages with complementary surprise snacks and the kitchen is fully equipped with an open-stone-oven and an antique wooden table to best accommodate anything from simple pizzas to complicated quesadillas.
